|Emotional Thermometer|

Instead of brushing your emotions under the carpet, acknowledge them. On a scale of 1-10, where is your stress, anger, or sadness level throughout the day? Recognizing your emotions gives you control over them. For example, if your stress level is at an 8, you might take a step back and ask yourself, “What’s causing this stress? Is it something within my control? What’s one small step I can take to reduce this stress?”

|Feel It to Heal It|

Give yourself permission to feel your emotions. When you find your emotional temperature rising, find a quiet space, set a timer for 10 minutes, and let yourself feel without judgment. Maybe you let out a scream into a pillow, maybe you let the tears flow, maybe you write furiously in a journal. Give yourself the space to process what you’re feeling.

|Lean on Your Circle|

Start sharing. Choose a person you trust, and let them in on something you’ve been carrying around.
